🌎 The World’s Best Basketball Courts

Basketball is an increasingly global game, and millions around the world find joy in running some outdoor pickup ball. We feel like it’s the game’s purest form, and the love for basketball around the world has produced some truly special hooping locations. Here are three of our favorites:

1. Taguig Tenement Basketball Court in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭

Located in the country’s capital of Manila, the Philippines’ Taguig Tenement Basketball Court is one of the coolest basketball settings out there. Tucked in between residential high-rises, the court features artwork more visually stunning than a Kyrie layup package. 😯 In the past, it’s depicted LeBron dunking, the Philippine national team in celebration, and tribute to Kobe and Gigi Bryant. The Philippines has an incredible passion for basketball (as seen in their hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup) and this court reflects that vibe.

2. City Wall Rooftop Court in Dubrovnik, Croatia 🇭🇷

Dubrovnik is where they filmed most of Game of Thrones, so imagine waking up in King's Landing and hooping with your fellow knights in the afternoon. Crazy. Dubrovnik’s walls were built in the 1500s, so when you can ball on top of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that is bound for some historically good pickup games.

3. Carmelo Anthony Court in San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 

Melo has built several basketball courts in Puerto Rico, but this one is our favorite. The Carmelo Court is located in the historic La Perla neighborhood of San Juan, and the vibrant colors of the court compare only with the equally beautiful hue of the ocean. 🌊

🇫🇷 Wemby x Louis V

Victor Wembanyama signing a brand deal with Louis Vuitton? This is one of those things that just makes sense—French excellence at its finest. Wemby seems like a totally down-to-earth dude despite being an athletic alien, but we suppose he had to get a little boujee for the NBA:

It’s wild that he inked this deal as a rookie! We suppose that’s what you get for being the most hyped up prospect since LeBron, who is also the new face of a Louis V marketing campaign.

We wanted to take a second to shout out this year’s NBA All-Star jerseys, because the league’s best looked great in these threads last Sunday! In an homage to the host city of Indianapolis, the faint pinstripes were a nice allusion to the Pacers’ historical jerseys. 🔥
