Fever respond from game 1 loss, even series at 1-1 with 77-60 win over Dream
Indy brought the playoff Fever! 🔥
With their backs against the wall facing elimination, the Fever responded in a big way to force a decisive game 3 in Atlanta on Thursday night. Kelsey Mitchell was SCORCHING in this one (19 PTS, 4/8 3PT) with Alijah Boston (15 PTS, 58% FG) and Natasha Howard (12 PTS, 63% FG) cooking right alongside her.
Their performances had the whole crowd, including Tyrese Haliburton, ROCKING: 🗣️

Indiana looks to carry their momentum of their first playoff win in ten years into ATL for the do-or-die game 3. Win or go home basketball, what’s better than that? 😎

Seattle Storms back late, avoid elimination in 86-83 win over Aces
On Tuesday night, the Seattle Storm changed their season’s fate lightning fast. ⚡
On the brink of elimination and trailing by eight heading into the fourth quarter, the Storm’s season was in real doubt. That is, until a 23-8 run fueled by Skylar Diggins (26 PTS, 7 AST) and Nneka Ogwumike (24 PTS, 10 REB, 4/5 3PT) quickly flipped the script!
It was only fitting Diggins hit the dagger in this one:

The Aces are definitely kicking themselves after squandering a 79-70 lead with less than five minutes to go, and will need repeat performances from Jackie Young (25 PTS) and A’ja Wilson (21 PTS) if they want to avoid going home in round one in the decisive matchup on Thursday.
These playoffs so far? Massive W if you ask us! 👍

Andrew Wiggins ranking high on Lakers’ Trade Target list
Could Andrew Wiggins’ stay in South Beach already be up? 🤔
After being acquired by Miami back in February in the deal that sent Jimmy Butler to the Warriors, it’s possible that he may already be on the move again. One team expressing interest? You guessed it: The Los Angeles Lakers. ☀️
The Lakeshow shook the league last season with the acquisition of Luka Doncić, and are looking to capitalize on the Luka-LeBron window while it’s still hot. With the loss of two-way forward Dorian Finney-Smith to the Rockets in free agency this summer, the wing position is a heavy need for the squad, and the team could be interested in the 11- year veteran if Miami is willing to reduce their payroll, per ESPN’s Marc Stein.
The former number one overall pick’s scoring, rebounding, and defensive abilities would be a great use for any contender, as the basketball world saw firsthand just three short years ago during his role in the Warriors’ 2022 championship run (16.5 PPG, 7.5 RPG).
Could be we seeing more statlines from Wiggins like this in the purple and gold? Only Time will tell. 😎

Which Nickname was Andrew Wiggins given in High School? |

Wayback Wednesday
The 2000s era of NBA basketball is vastly different than the game we’ve grown accustomed to love in 2025.
It was much more common to see a 75-73 final score than it was seeing both teams reach 100 points. The game was played at a slower pace with more of a defensive/rebounding focus, while the offensive efficiency numbers were way down compared to what we see in today’s game.
Simply put, this era of hoops was a true GRIND each and every night. In today’s edition of Wayback Wednesday, let’s show some love to a player who was destined to shine in this era- Tayshaun Prince! 💪

Tay found himself in the perfect place to carry his college success over to the NBA after being selected 23rd by the Pistons in the 2002 draft, and It didn’t take long for him to become established as one of the best defenders in all of basketball.
In just his second season, he became a crucial piece of the 2004 Pistons squad that won the title, with Prince taking the lead responsibility of shutting down Kobe Bryant throughout the series. Talk about making a name for yourself! 🔥
The highlight of that ‘04 championship run (and maybe his career) for Tayshaun, though, came during game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers.
Take a look at his game-saving block on Reggie Miller that is still argued as one of the best individual blocks in NBA history: 😱

Although he saw team success very early in his career, Prince did find a great deal of individual success as well. A four-season stretch spanning from the ‘04-’05 season to the ‘07-’08 season was met with four consecutive All-Defensive Second Team selections, efficient offensive numbers (14.1 PTS, 48% FG) and was capped off with a Gold Medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. 👌
Tayshaun Prince’s legacy will forever be stamped in the Motor City for his key role on the Pistons squads that reached six straight conference finals from 2003-08, including the ‘04 Title run. It’s important the rest of the basketball world gives him his flowers too. 🤝

That’s all for today, Enjoyers! Thanks for making us a part of your day. If you have a moment this week, write down three things you’re grateful for. It’s easy to focus on what we don’t have as opposed to all the great things we already DO have that we may take for granted. Gratitude is important!
We’ll see you on Friday!
