😲 Cavaliers: Crushing it.
Apparently, having three All-Stars on your team is a good thing.

Game Recaps
Cavaliers dominate Hawks 137-115 after All-Star announcement, recapture NBA’s best record
A team-high 26 points for Darius Garland. A red-hot 24 points for Donovan Mitchell. An efficient, defensively dominant 16 and 10 for Evan Mobley. We’ll get into the full All-Star rosters a little later, but this Cleveland trio is LEGIT.
The Cavs absolutely steamrolled Atlanta last night, leading by as many as 29 in a game that was the second night of a back-to-back (yes, they won on Wednesday too.) And shout-out to Zaccharie Risacher (30 PTS), who had one of the best games of his underappreciated rookie campaign despite the Hawks’ loss—their seventh in a row. We can’t wait to see him at All-Star weekend one day!

Wiggins, Warriors survive Shai’s 50-bomb in 116-109 win
With SGA at 31 points and the Thunder up 10 at the break, we would have felt discouraged if we were the Warriors going into halftime in this one. But maybe that’s why we’re not Steph Curry (21 PTS, 5-10 3PT).
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (52 PTS, 16-29 FG, 18-21 FT) came just two points short from tying the career-high mark that he set just days ago, but Steph and Andrew Wiggins (27 PTS, 5-8 3PT) shot their way back into this game in the third quarter and took control going into the fourth—Kevon Looney (18 PTS, 4 BLK) also played a big role on both ends. Props to Shai on another career-defining night, but even more props to Golden State for doing what matters most—securing the W.
Steph is just toying with the 3pt line at this point😭😭😭😭😂😂😂

Elsewhere around the NBA…
In a matchup between the #2 and #3 teams out West, the Ja Morant-less Grizzlies came back and came up with a 120-119 victory against Jalen Green (25 PTS, 6 REB, 5 AST) and the Rockets—Desmond Bane (24 PTS, 12 REB) helped Memphis end the game on a 13-4 run to get the W.
A huuuuuuge Kristaps Porzingis game (34 PTS, 11 REB, 8-14 3PT) powered the Celtics over the Bulls 122-100 with a little help from Jaylen Brown (28 PTS, 6 REB, 6 AST)—Coby White and Patrick Williams led Chicago in scoring with 16 apiece.
Minnesota was down by as many as 15 to the Jazz… but they came allll the way back and blew Utah out by 25 thanks to 36 & 11 from Anthony Edwards and a nice game from the rook, Rob Dillingham (19 PTS, 8 AST). Timberwolves win, 138-113.
Help yourself, or help others? Jalen Brunson (30 PTS, 15 AST) did both as the Knicks won their fifth straight game, a 122-112 victory over Jamal Murray (33 PTS) and the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Big nights from Kyrie Irving (25 PTS, 9 AST), PJ Washington (25 PTS, 14 REB, 8 AST), and Daniel Gafford (22 PTS, 12 REB) helped the Mavericks fend off the Pelicans’ comeback effort in a high-scoring 137-136 affair.
After making it interesting in the fourth, Wemby (23 PTS, 12 REB) and the Spurs ultimately fell 128-116 to the Clippers, who benefitted from a season-high 27 PTS from Kawhi Leonard and another 20-20 game from Ivica Zubac (21 PTS, 22 REB).
Kawhi's career-high in minutes and points is 46 and 45, respectively...
He and the reporter shared a laugh after his season-high 27 points in 28 minutes 🤣

🧠 Daily Trivia 🧠
OTD in 2018, James Harden recorded a 60-point triple-double. Who is the only other player in NBA history to ever accomplish that feat? |
Full All-Star Rosters Announced!
The time has come! With the NBA’s announcement of the full list of reserves, we now know the entire crop of 2024-25 All-Stars! The Eastern Conference list is as follows:
Starters: Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns
Reserves: Jaylen Brown, Cade Cunningham, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Damian Lillard, Evan Mobley, Pascal Siakam
And, out West:
Starters: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic
Reserves: Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, James Harden, Jaren Jackson Jr., Alperen Sengun, Victor Wembanyama, Jalen Williams
Like always, we have to give some love to the first-time All-Stars of the group! Cade Cunningham, Tyler Herro, and Evan Mobley all got their first nods out East, while Jalen Williams, Alperen Sengun, and Wemby all secured their first nominations in the West.
And it’s also important, as always, to respect greatness. Anthony Davis now has 10 All-Star appearances, while the Slim Reaper Kevin Durant made it an even 15. Steph and Harden both captured #11, while #TheKidFromAkron earned his 21st All-Star nod—crazy. Shout-out to the Cavaliers as well, whose trio of Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, and Evan Mobley made Cleveland the first team with three All-Stars since the 2021-22 Warriors.
But All-Star season wouldn’t be All-Star season without one specific word: snub. LaMelo Ball failed to make the cut after leading all Eastern Conference guards in the fan vote, Domantas Sabonis didn’t get any love after leading the league in rebounds per game up until this point, and guys like Trae Young, Tyrese Maxey, Franz Wagner, and Norman Powell missing out had their respective fan bases confused.
But we wanna know from you: who was the biggest 2024-25 All-Star snub?
