Playoff Recap
Thunder outlast Jokić masterclass, win 112-105 to go up 3-2
Nikola Jokić (44 PTS, 15 REB) looked like himself again, and that’s usually all Denver needs.
The reigning MVP found his rhythm, hit tough shots, and owned the glass, creating second-chance looks and doing everything he could to keep the Nuggets alive. But in a game that begged for one more big moment from Denver’s supporting cast, the help never showed up.
And in a series that has seen some big moments from the Nuggets’ role players, it was their shooting woes in the 4Q that eventually doomed Denver despite the big night from their star. Struggling to get any good looks against OKC's airtight defense, absolutely nothing was going down in the final quarter for anyone not named Jokić.
And while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (31 PTS) was quiet for most of the night, he came through when it mattered and buried a couple of massive buckets late to tip the game back in OKC’s favor.
Now, the Thunder head to Mile High with a 3-2 series lead and a chance to make their first Conference Finals since that 3-1 collapse in 2016. This time, they’re the ones in control, as not even one of the wildest circus shots of Jokić’s career could save Denver.

Pacers book 2nd straight Conference Finals ticket by taking Cavs down 114-105
The Pacers have been hearing it all year—last year’s run was a fluke, they got lucky, the East was soft. Not anymore.
Indiana just knocked out the top seed in the East in five games, capped off by a 19-point comeback on the road that was one of the most impressive W’s we’ve seen this postseason.
Early on, it was all Cleveland with a banged-up Donovan Mitchell (35 PTS) doing everything he could to drag the Cavs across the finish line. But once Tyrese Haliburton (31 PTS) and Pascal Siakam (21 PTS) got going, the script flipped fast. Indiana took over the third quarter and never looked back, carving through Cleveland’s defense, playing with poise, and pushing the tempo when it mattered most.
Myles Turner (10 PTS, 5 BLK) made his mark defensively all night but saved his biggest moment for last, burying a corner three to crush a last-ditch Cavs push and seal the series.

Tatum tears Achilles as Knicks rally past Celtics 121-113, take 3-1 series lead
There are few things tougher to watch than a playoff injury, especially when one happens in the middle of a masterpiece.
Jayson Tatum (42 PTS) was putting together one of the best games of his career, going blow for blow with Jalen Brunson (39 PTS) in a must-win Game 4 that felt like it could go either way. But Tatum went down late in the fourth, clutching his left leg and leaving the floor with tears in his eyes and in visible pain as he was helped to the locker room. Sadly, the Celtics confirmed that JT tore his Achilles, meaning he’ll most likely be out for the entire 2025-26 season.
It’s extra unfortunate that this terrible news will overshadow what should be a legendary day for the Knicks, who completed yet another double-digit comeback thanks to huge efforts from Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns (23 PTS), Mikal Bridges (23 PTS), and OG Anunoby (20 PTS). Even though it wasn’t the biggest story of the night, New York now finds themselves on the brink of their first ECF appearance this century—a major moment in and of itself.

Wolves beat Warriors 117-110 behind 30 from Edwards and Randle
The Timberwolves are one win away from back-to-back WCF appearances, and the way they’re playing, they might not stop there.
Even without Steph Curry, the Warriors didn’t go quietly in this one. Jonathan Kuminga (23 PTS) led the charge with a flurry of strong drives, keeping things close through the third quarter in what was a tightly contested game early on.
But Minnesota had answers.
Julius Randle (31 PTS) set the tone early, continuing to flip the script on his playoff reputation with another efficient scoring night. And once Anthony Edwards (30 PTS) found his rhythm in the 3Q, the Wolves took over and strung together a 15–0 run that cracked the game open and put them firmly in control.
Now, they have a chance to win the series on home court in Game 5.

Lottery Recap
What. Just. Happened.
This year’s draft lottery was absolute chaos, and let’s just say… the league is not beating the scripted allegations after this one.
Here’s how the full order shook out:
Dallas Mavericks 🐎
San Antonio Spurs 🤠
Philadelphia 76ers 🎆
Charlotte Hornets 🐝
Utah Jazz 🎷
Washington Wizards 🧙
New Orleans Pelicans 🌊
Brooklyn Nets 🏀
Toronto Raptors 🦖
Houston Rockets 🚀
Portland Trail Blazers 🌲
Chicago Bulls 🐂
Atlanta Hawks 🦅
San Antonio Spurs 🤠
Some of the key takeaways:
With just a 1.8% chance, the Mavericks somehow came away with the No. 1 pick and, most likely, Cooper Flagg. Call it karma, call it luck, call it Nico Harrison’s entire lifetime supply of good fortune. Whatever it is, Dallas now has a franchise cornerstone to build around… again.
Perhaps the more intriguing Texas team to jump up was the Spurs. Dylan Harper feels like the obvious #2 pick, but with Victor Wembanyama and an already stacked young guard room, don’t be surprised if San Antonio gets aggressive. That #2 pick could absolutely be in play in a major deal this summer. (Giannis trade watch: activated. 👀)
The Sixers’ injury-riddled season helped them grab the third-overall pick, and Philly has a lot to think about. Is it time to tear it down and build around Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain, and pick #3? Or should they give the Joel Embiid-Paul George tandem one more chance to make some noise?
Finally, it was a bad day to be a fan of the NBA’s two worst teams—the Jazz and Wizards fell to 5th and 6th, respectively. This is what the lottery is designed to do, but it doesn’t make it sting any less. Sorry.
