Playoff Recap

Haliburton’s zero-turnover 30-15-10 game powers Pacers to 130-121 Game 4 win, 3-1 ECF lead over Knicks

Tyrese Haliburton (32 PTS, 15 AST, 12 REB, 0 TOV) came out looking like he was possessed by the basketball gods themselves in Game 4 against New York, leading a 43-point first quarter barrage while finishing the half one board short of a triple-double as the Pacers’ offense ran rampant.

That would have been enough for Indy to race out into a huge lead on most nights, but the Knicks’ stars didn't back down from the challenge. Jalen Brunson (31 PTS) traded blows with Hali before Karl-Anthony Towns (24 PTS, 12 REB) led a strong run with both PGs on the bench to keep New York in it.

But the Pacers’ offense kept up as the second half kicked off, while the Knicks’ efforts started to crumble. Haliburton continued to dominate when he was on the court and Indy's defense forced some important turnovers to keep New York out of reach and finally give our hearts a much needed break from the wild late-game action we've had so far this series.

The Pacers now need one more win to secure a Finals appearance that very few saw coming. What’s not to Enjoy about that?!? šŸ€

SGA and J-Dub put on a show, Thunder take 3-1 lead over Wolves with 128-126 win

This was OKC in their deadliest form. From forcing a boatload of turnovers to get out in transition to aggressively attacking the offensive glass, the Thunder simply did what they do best. And if that wasn't enough, their best players stepped up big time in a pivotal Game 4 on the road.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (40 PTS, 10 AST, 9 REB) and Jalen Williams (34 PTS) put together one of their best combined games yet on Monday. Shai struggled from the field at times, but his playmaking never wavered as he found open shooters and kept the Wolves’ defense in scramble mode. Add in J-Dub and another two-way gem from Chet Holmgren (21 PTS, 3 BLK), and OKC’s big three looked downright terrifying.

As the Thunder coalesced around their stars, the Wolves used the opposite tactic to stay in the game. With Lu Dort doing a great job of keeping Anthony Edwards (16 PTS, 6 AST) in check and OKC's interior presence stifling Julius Randle (5 PTS, 1-7 FG), it was up to Minnesota's secondary shot-makers to save the day.

And they nearly pulled it off! Jaden McDaniels (22 PTS), Donte DiVincenzo (21 PTS, 5 3PM), and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (23 PTS, 5 3PM) took full advantage of the attention given to Ant-Man and hit the big shots Minnesota needed to stay in the game.

But all credit goes to the Thunder, who handled their business in crunch time and managed to hang on despite an attempted ā€œassistā€ from a courtside fan.
