👻 Best Halloween Fits
Happy belated Halloween! Whether you dressed up as a ghost, cowboy, or LeGOAT himself, we’re sure you killed it. And you’re not alone! Let’s share our favorite Halloween costumes from NBA players this year:
Wemby dressed up as Kaonashi from the animated movie 'Spirited Away,” and we’re not gonna lie: we didn’t realize he was cultured like that. It’s great that, despite his other-worldly talent, Wemby is just a 20-year-old kid at heart. This may have topped last year’s costume, which would be saying a lot.

We’re convinced Walker Kessler looks more like Woody than the actual Woody. And fun-sized Japanese sensation Yuki Kawamura dressed up as a ninja, the historical Japanese version of the Secret Service… if they had really cool swords.
The definition of aura.
The most creative costume definitely goes to recent breakout center Jay Huff, who went as Kyle Kuzma when he wore that pink “thneed”-looking sweater. Kuzma said Huff didn’t let him know in advance—which is hilarious—and he had a great reaction when asked about the costume.

👟 Our Favorite Kicks from Opening Week
Did Tyrese Maxey just make New Balance a cool hoop shoe?!? Philly’s star guard wore his Hesi Low V2 “Oasis” last week, and we think they’re unbelievably cold. Also, peep Maxey’s new logo on the back: 🤫
The Celtics are almost unbeatable right now, and so is Jrue Holiday’s shoe game. These gold and green kicks embody the Luck O’ the Celtics, but what makes this pair S-tier is the “2X” on the heel, in reference to Holiday being a 2-time NBA champion. We should all start putting our accomplishments on our shoes!
Lastly, we can’t get over these Halloween themed Book 1’s that Devin Booker rocked on October 29 against the Lakers. Between his kicks, cars, and skillset, Book might be the smoothest dude in the league.
🎥 OKC’s Elite Postgame Interviews
The Thunder are the last unbeaten team in the West, but we’re equally as impressed by their vibes as their on-court excellence. It’s overwhelmingly clear that the Thunder are still the youngest team in the NBA–and that’s a good thing! You can tell they have so much fun playing together and that they recognize everyone is living out their dreams.
OKC brought back their postgame tradition of doing group interviews and, well, barking. They even brought back Josh Giddey after the Thunder-Bulls game and included newcomer Alex Caruso in the shenanigans. If we could be a part of one locker room in the NBA, it would be hard not to pick OKC. 🤷♂️
