BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK!

Live look at LJ Cryer
Hey! Sorry. Kelvin Sampson and the Houston Cougars must have gotten in here and written that intro. But dawgs do as they please!
PS: if you know a Duke fan, give them a hug.

Today’s Lineup
👟 Shai’s New Kicks
The MVP candidate and occasional model is getting a signature shoe!
📚 Harrison Barnes + San Antonio Students
The Spur was honored by the NBA for making an impact in his new city…
❤️ Jazz Coach Promotes Autism Acceptance
The league will wear custom kicks and partner with the To The Max Foundation.

👟 Our New Favorite Kicks by Shai
We can’t stop thinking about our new favorite hoop shoe, the Converse Shai 001. We’re not surprised that Aura Man’s first signature shoe is this drippy, but the camel color and suede-looking texture are both next-level. These are in the “butter” color-way, but we’re sure they’ll come out with more colors soon—and we can’t wait. 🔥

This may tip the scales in the MVP debate
They don’t release until this fall, but they’ve become available to a select few. Shai’s cousin Nickeil Alexander-Walker wore them in the Wolves’ epic double-OT duel with the Nuggets when Jokic dropped his insane 60-point triple double. Maybe we need to have a long, hyphenated last name to qualify for a pair ourselves? 🤔
When we think of Converse basketball shoes, images of Julius Erving and wayyy too short shorts come to mind. But SGA seems to be bringing the brand into 2025 in style.
Is the Shai 001 "Butter" a cop or drop? |

📚 Barnes Sponsors San Antonio Students
In just his first year with the Spurs, Harrison Barnes is making a BIG impact in San Antonio. The veteran wing made a $250,000 donation to AlamoPROMISE, a program that provides the cost of tuition for students in the area. What’s more, Barnes helped bring a newly renovated basketball court and playground to Davis White Northeast Neighborhood Park!

In recognition of Barnes’ admirable work, the NBA gave him the Bob Lanier Community Assist Award and committed to donating $10,000 to the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum.
“Now, as part of the San Antonio community, my wife Brittany and I are honored to give back and help invest in the future of this incredible city. Partnering with AlamoPROMISE and St. Philip’s College is my way of ensuring that young people here have the resources and opportunities to succeed. It’s about creating lasting change, building bridges, and supporting the next generation of leaders.”

❤️ Jazz Coach Promotes Autism Acceptance
Pay extra attention to the sidelines while watching the NBA this week—if you see some cool AF1s, there’s a wholesome reason why they’re there.
Utah Jazz assistant Scott Morrison has a 5-year-old son with autism and launched an initiative with the NBA during April for Autism Acceptance Month. This week, NBA head coaches will wear custom kicks with their team’s branding and designs that symbolize support for the autism community. The sneakers will then be put up for auction, with the funds supporting the To the Max Foundation, a non-profit founded by the Morrisons.

The Morrisons commissioned JSM 801 Customs, the Salt Lake City-based design studio that worked on last year’s shoe campaign, to design more than 60 unique pairs for coaches, broadcasters, and even Adam Silver.
