🤓 Our Favorite Players to Rock Glasses

Remember that trend in the early 2010s of NBA players wearing glasses without lenses? The hipster millennial trend had the NBA in a chokehold. C’mon Russ. 😂 

LeagueFits posted on X a series of their favorite athletes to wear glasses, so we thought we’d shine a light on our favorites. 🤓 

The GOAT NBA player with glasses is obviously Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. When you think rec-specs, you think of the NBA’s second-all-time-leading scorer. We love that he was winning rings alongside bona fide glasses-wearers James Worthy and Kurt Rambis. The 1980s Lakers were really a bespectacled dynasty! 🥸

But our favorite is Horace Grant because man… these googles are wearing him 😂 We give extra points for the googles matching the Orlando Magic uniform! 🪄 

Everything about Tacko Fall is goofy in the best way, from his seismic 7’6” frame to his lumbering low-post game, so it just makes sense that the Senegalese center wears goggles too. Remember how close he was at UCF to knocking off that Zion Williamson Duke team?! Rewatch the ending here.

Lastly, let’s give a moment for Dwyane Wade. We specifically love Miami’s finest in these shades because it makes him look like his superhero nickname: The Flash.

And we’ve gotta shout out LeBron James because legit, why did he do this. 😭💀 

Jarrett Allen’s High School Musical Wedding

Jarrett Allen is everything Troy Bolton wanted to be.😅 

A video went viral this week of the Cavaliers center dancing We’re All in This Together from High School Musical and bro KILLED IT!

Teammate Dean Wade served as a groomsman, and you can see him in the background hitting moves like the dude who loved to bake crème brûlée 💀 

Not only is Allen a defensive stalwart, but he seems like such a down-to-earth, no-frills dude. The type of dude who chills at your crib all day playing video games and building legos. Though he might be busy playing third wheel with D-Mills. 😭 

NBA 2K26 drops in under a month, and 2K recently released its preview where you can see the new high-resolution sweat beads gameplay. It will also implement a new feature where you have to time your rebounds, which has led to a funny trend on X. What’s next? Will we have to green our passes, dribbles, and high-fives? 😂
