🗣️ Wemby creates Euro-style fan section in SA

The San Antonio Spurs have a new die-hard fan section on par with the Ultras you see in European soccer. Who founded the club? None other than Victor Wembanyama 🤯 

The Jackals, members of this new fan section, bleed black and silver and throughout games keep cheering, chanting and drumming to make home games at the Frost Bank Center the most hostile environment in the NBA. Wemby had the idea inspired by the Ultras of Paris Saint-German he grew up around in France 🇫🇷 

The Spurs hosted tryouts for the team, and Wemby spent HOURS studying film to select the captains himself. To let them know, those picked were just texted one character: 👽

And let’s just take a second to be clear for how die-heard these guys are. Some shaved their heads after seeing Wemby and Keldon Johnson rock the bald look 😭. Plus, look at this electric new tradition Wemby started with the whole arena ⬇️

We love how much Wemby wants to get the fans involved. Of all the amazing new things this GOATed generation of international stars have brought to our league, this has to be up there 🔥

❤️ Bam Adebayo gives 36K toys to Miami kids

In December, our guy Bam Adebayo hosted his annual holiday toy drive at Miami’s Kaseya Center, welcoming nearly 2,300 students from underserved communities. Kids enjoyed a holiday meal and a game-style toy grab on the court, helping distribute more than 36,000 toys, with additional gifts donated across South Florida 🙌 

Adebayo also created memorable experiences beyond Miami, flying in student-athletes from his hometown of Greensboro, NC, for a special game-day weekend that included team panels, activities, and courtside seats 🤯 

His foundation further surprised fans with seat upgrades and organized a special trip for student-athletes facing hardships, providing mentorship and care packages 🙏 

As a result of his good deed, Bam was named the NBA Cares Bob Lanier Community Assist Award winner for December, and The NBA and NBPA will donate $20,000 to the Edrice Adebayo Foundation in recognition of his efforts 🐐 

Last week Cade Cunningham rocked his GT Cut 3 “All Star” PEs after being voted an all star starter for the very first time 🔥 

And we’ve gotta say… Cade and Nike absolutely cooked with this one. The white speckles and blue gradient on the swoosh makes this shoe look like it just teleported from outer space… where it’s all stars 💫 

Well played, Nike! 🫡 

We cannot wait for Cade’s first signature shoe to drop in Spring 2027, but if Detroit makes a finals run they may have to speed up that production timeline 👀
