Before you watch a few great games today, let’s chat a bit about our favorite off-the-court stories from the past month!

Karl-Anthony Towns tore up the Atlanta Hawks in round one, and recently popped up as himself in The Devil Wears Prada 2, appearing at a high-profile Hamptons party alongside Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway 👠

He called the experience “an honor,” getting a firsthand look at elite acting talent while holding his own in the scene. As KAT would say, this is what movies is made of 😂

Quick sidebar: Anne Hathaway is sneakily up there alongside Spike Lee, Ben Stiller and Timothee Chalamet in the group of die-hard celebrity Knicks fans.

Recently, she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she almost wore an OG Anunoby jersey to the interview (watch here!) and has been hyping the squad (and OG specifically 👀) for years. And now she helped get KAT in her movie! 🎥

Speaking of OG, the Knicks Swiss army knife made an appearance on the TV show Friends & Neighbors along with Zach Lowe. The two of them encounter the character Diane Miller who calls Anunoby “very attractive.” When Lowe asks about him, she replies that Lowe is a “Westchester 7” 😭

After finishing in a criminal fifth place in the Most Improved Player race, Ryan Rollins was honored with a different award this month 🏆

The Bucks guard was named the NBA Cares Community Assist Award winner for March, thanks to his strong commitment to youth literacy, community outreach, and inclusive basketball programs in Milwaukee 👏

Rollins pledging to donate one book for every point he scored. Given his giant leap in scoring volume, that was one of the best deals since the Big Short. The result? Over 1,000 books heading to Milwaukee Public Schools 📚

He also tapped into creative learning through the Bucks’ Rhymes with Reason program, using hip-hop to help students build vocabulary and confidence 💪

But his impact goes beyond education. During the holidays, he supported kids with incarcerated parents through the “Shop with a Buck” program, making sure each child felt seen and valued ❤️

RJ Barrett hit an all-time playoff game winner a combination of the Toronto Kawhi shot and the Haliburton shot against the Knicks from last year. Imagine hitting that type of shot for your home town team!! Probably the best feeling in the world.

Meanwhile, King James got in his bag with the LeBron 23 “Shoe Bag” color ways for Game 3 of the Lakers-Rockets series. Turns out he also still has a deep bag of tricks that turned a nearly guaranteed loss into an overtime victory after a legendary steal and three pointer.
